We would like to invite everyone to join us for “Heart of a Lion Day” in honor of Diana Jonason, this Sunday October 26 at Masuk High School during our four home games:

- 3rd Grade at 9:00am;

- 5th Grade at 11:00am;

- 6th grade at 1:00pm.

In memory of Diana Jonason, a Monroe mom who was actively involved in Monroe Lions football, Monroe Baseball, and MSC - Heart of a Lion Day has been created to assist families in need in Monroe.

Diana battled metastatic breast cancer for over two years. During her fight, Diana’s mindset was to be positive through the process and only find the good in every obstacle she came across. Diana fought this battle stoically and rarely let people know the actual day to day struggle she was facing. Anyone that crossed paths with Diana would come to be inspired. She spent the last two years living life to its fullest. Diana was a pillar of strength showcasing resiliency daily for her children and husband, Greg. In spite of Diana’s unwavering strength on Saturday, May 18, 2024 her battle came to an end surrounded by close family and friends.
